Conference One is a college varsity esports organization, powered by community and driven by elite competition.
Where players matter, competition matters.
Launching this Fall, we are bringing together colleges/universities across the United States in a VALORANT competition.
Together with our partners and member schools, Conference One strives to drive collegiate esports forward.
This competition is not affiliated with or sponsored by Riot Games, Inc. or VALORANT Esports.
How does it work?
Become a Conference One member.
Each school fields one team–so recruit your best VALORANT team! Teams consist of 5 players, 1 coordinator and 1 school administrator and must be sanctioned by your school.
Four regions battle it out.
Teams are divided into four regions based on location: North, East, South, and West.
Compete weekly on your match day.
Matches are pre-scheduled and select matches are live broadcasted three days a week, highlighting players and their teams.
Advance to Regionals, and then
Teams compete in round-robin play through the year. Top teams from each region advance to our regional and grand finals tournament–where we will crown a winner!
Our year is divided into Fall and Spring Splits.
Full schedule will be released September 25, 2020,
during our launch live stream on Twitch.
8 weeks (7 matches + 1 bye week)
All teams compete in a round robin tournament in their regions. At the end of the Fall split, the bottom two teams from each region will be relegated from play.
6 weeks (5 matches + 1 bye week)
Remaining teams compete in the spring for a chance to compete in our regional and grand finals competitions.
Regional & Finals
4 regionals + 1 national final
It's a battle of the top teams. Teams who place in the top two of each regional advance to playoffs for a chance to be crowned #1.
