The Esports Trade Association’s Regulated Video Game and Esports Committee is excited to welcome prominent attorney, William J. Pascrell, III, to advise the group.
With over a decade of experience in the global gaming industry, Pascrell is a well-known lobbyist with the Princeton Public Affairs Group. Notably, he led the successful multi-year campaign to pass New Jersey’s Online Gaming Act.
Pascrell brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table. Utilizing his expertise, the committee will better be able to create standards, frameworks, and practices to enable nationwide legalization of regulated esports wagering and real money gameplay in video games, protecting players and improving their experiences.
“William J. Pascrell, III’s experience in the gaming industry and commitment to the field are unmatched. Having him as an advisor to our committee is a great honor as all of us are deeply impressed by his knowledge, enthusiasm and body of work. The expertise he brings to our committee will be especially useful when discussing the importance of regulated gaming standards with legislators and regulators. As a result of his involvement, we are confident that we can advance the industry to a higher level of protection and better player experiences,” stated Committee Chair and GaudHammer Gaming Group CE0, Anthony Gaud.
Pascrell’s advisory roles and board memberships in various gaming companies demonstrate his commitment to the industry, including Entain Foundation US, Seton Hall University Law School’s Gaming, Compliance & Integrity Bootcamp, and Betegy, LLC, among others. He also co-launched and managed a joint venture between PPAG and H2GC to provide research, analytics, data, and political counsel to the US gaming industry, and is the Executive Director of the American Institute for i-Gaming.
